UNITE HERE at Yale is the Union of over 5000 employees at Yale University, including: service and maintenance staff in Local 35, clerical and technical staff in Local 34, and graduate teachers and researchers in GESO (Graduate Employees and Students Organization).

Local 34, Local 35 and GESO are affiliates of UNITE HERE International Union, which represents over 250,000 workers throughout the U.S. and Canada who work in the hospitality, gaming, food service, manufacturing, textile, laundry and airport industries
